Debut Novel - Fourteen Million To One

Our aim is to take on as many new authors from as many different genres as possible. However it only seems fitting in regards to our name that our first work is a published novel by Jason Nightingale, whose main genre is criminal fiction. Jason Nightingale has previously worked as an English teacher in Cyprus and Poland. Currently he is working in London. He says he got the idea for Fourteen Million to One when he once played the lottery and won ten pounds but later discovered that he'd lost the ticket. He says,

'I was very upset at the time because I'd played the lottery often but never won anything. Then I won ten pounds but couldn't find the ticket. I knew I had won because I play the same numbers every week. Then I thought it could have been worse because I could have got all six numbers and won the jackpot only to have found I'd lost the ticket. Imagine how you'd feel! Then I thought worse still would be to win the lottery but have the ticket stolen from you and the idea for my novel Fourteen Million to One was conceived'.
